I still remember it like it was yesterday
How you spoke to me in almost a whisper
I like how your eyebrows are thick
I’d brush them for you if you’d let me
I did my best to bite my tongue
But I almost told you to whisper again
Into my other ear so that I regain my balance
It’s like you’re killing me and saving my life
Then you still went ahead to say
You look good in all colours you wear
