Jesus, You are different!
You stood by the adulterous woman,
When everyone walked away from her.
You entered the publican’s house,
When everyone rebelled against him.
You called the children to You,
When everyone wanted to send them away.
You forgave Peter,
When he condemned himself.
You praised the poor widow,
When everyone ignored her.
You resisted the devil,
When all would have succumbed to his temptation.
You promised paradise to the evildoer,
When everyone wished him hell.
You called Paul to follow You,
When everyone feared him as a stalker.
You ran away from success,
When everyone wanted to make You king.
You loved the poor,
When everyone was looking for riches.
You healed the sick,
When they were abandoned by others.
You shut up,
When everyone accused You, they beat You and made fun of You.
You died on the cross,
When everyone was celebrating Easter.
You took the blame,
When everyone washed their hands in innocence.
You rose from the dead,
When everyone thought You were defeated.
Jesus, I thank You because You are Unique
