The pain I decided not to touch
Has become a torrid home in me
You warned me about active volcanoes
And I grew one right inside of me
In search of the monster under my bed
I found one hiding inside my head instead
Leave me to die with a thousand whips
Just tell me the cure for curved hips
Your silence is a constant pain unending
It’s as if my existence is slowly crumbling
I long to put an end to this suffering
But I find my love for You always expressing
Now I know You don’t want my strength
You have more than enough without length
What You really want is my weakness
Your lack of weakness is Your weakness

I finally got rid of my prideful ignorance
I read and studied The Bible for myself
I didn’t expect to change this much
I thought sin was all about pleasure
I’ve changed my mind about it
I thought secular lifestyle was so attractive
Now I’m better and I know better
I thought Christians were so miserable
But now I think they’re so delightful
I thought prayer and fasting was worthless
Now it’s my most precious source of Power
I used to live so unapologetically
But now repentance is His daily gift
I used to think God doesn’t care about us
Now I know He’s the Only Spirit
Who didn’t ask for my blood sacrifice
He gave His Own BloodKJ🇰🇪✍🏾

I am not Religious
I’m saved by Christ
He knew that I’d still struggle with sin
Even after He saves me
But He still did it anyway
There is No Greater Love than this

Knowing Jesus, if false, is of no importance. But if it is true, then it is of infinite importance. The only thing it can never be is moderately important. I’d rather believe in Jesus and find out that He is fake, than not believe in Him and find out later that He is so real.

Like you’re just breathing but barely alive
Like you’re desperately searching for answers

So He can lift you up
Set you free eternally once and for all
Remove all hopelessness
He listens keenly to all your requests
He will answer prayers you’re unable to share
He hears your heart’s most secret fears
You are not too far down the road to be found
He will come meet you right where you are
Surround you with people who really care
You only need Him & everything will work out
His name is Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour

Kindness & generosity may go unappreciated
Do not let that harden your big heart
Do not let it make you bitter and resentful
Keep being kind and loving
Your deeds don’t go unnoticed
God is always listening and observing
Bringing you what you need when you need
The right people will come into your life
The right lessons will be learnt
And His timing will be oh so perfect
For God never forgets the labour of love
