  • See You Again

To love is to suffer, that much is true
But hatred is neither the answer, it’s not for you
We must choose love over hate
To heal our hearts and seal our fate
I lost, I’m lost and my heart still is at loss
The ache I feel I cannot shake
I am seeking answers but find none
This hurt cannot be easily undone
As I lie awake all through the night
I struggle with sleep and I miss your light
I’ll miss us hanging out and having fun
Our sunset dhow rides were second to none
Rooftop nights and swimming outside the house
Those were moments that I’ll always espouse
Meeting you will always be something special
A time to reconnect and share our potential
All I have now are memories that you existed
I seek peace and hope that it’s heaven where we’ll be reunited

  • Living Dead

I passed by the cemetery today
And wondered how many of them enjoyed their life
How many of them were happy to be there
How many of them were forgotten
With no one to put flowers on their tomb stones
How many of them died inside
Before they actually closed their eyes
And how many of them wanted to go so bad
    That they did it themselves
