The Way 🇰🇪

  • Son of David

I like writing and I love poetry
I have found a timeless anthology
Staring at me through the mirror
    A handsome majestic Royal Priest
    Bearing the most noble heritage
In my veins runs a Royal Bloodline
From the glorious House of David
My presence in this world is known
My presence in my home world is acknowledged
With an Invisible Crown upon my head
I am an heir to His Eternal Kingdom
If I could write about The King of Kings
I could write just about anything
For He is everything & everything is Him
If I have to write more about me
I would still write Him, just Him
For I am my loving Father’s Son
I was born a Crown Prince

  • Alpha and Omega

LORD, This looks like a dead end
But so did the Red Sea
This looks too big to conquer
    But so did Goliath
This looks like it’s over, end of the story
    But so did The Cross
I’m laying it all at Your feet
    And keep reminding my heart
    This is Your Story

  • The WORD

    Love with words
    Lust not with them
    Send your words out
    With full sincerity
    Yet Never Forget
    The Word of Life
    From the Maker of words

  • SeeSaw

You told me you love the rain
Now I can’t sleep during storms
It’s not because that I am afraid
It’s that they remind me of you

  • My Priority

    To my loving family
Loving you is the only thing
That I know how to do
    You make me feel Jovial
    Nadra nijiskie ovyo
    You make me feel wanted
    Kwa hilo nasema asante
    For your Love and Friendship
    Levitates sorrow from my body

  • Shatter the Normal

    Don’t just exist, Live
Be cultured but stick to your moral instinct
Make mistakes and learn from them
    Embrace modern technology
But don’t get enslaved to it
Help others and ask for no favour in return
Accept compliments but don’t live for them
    Read books and acquire knowledge
But invest in your talent and passion too
Learn how to grow in the dark

  • Nuggets

    Trust before you Love
    Know before you Judge
    Forgive before you Forget
    Commit before you Promise
    Appreciate before you Regret

  • Pain to my Pain

I know a feeling of nothing
They call it a state of mind
    I bear overwhelmed thoughts
    Constantly on a masked face
I hold a grudge with myself
For not acting on my intuitions
I know I mess up my meadows
    By watering thorns so willingly

  • Do you see me?

If there was a single speck of sand
Sitting still surrounded by millions & millions
Of other tiny specks of sand
Would the speck of sand still be forced
    To consider its significance
In the composition of the beach?
And if whatever the waves don’t wash away
Is treated as a resource for future travellers
    Will you still see it?

  • Bye Bye

    All alone in my head
It’s just me, my pen & pages
To keep it all in line
I pretend but in the end
I know I will finally find my way
    Out of this tricky situation
I’m leaving but I’m taking it too hard
    Because I have been bleeding
    Right from the very start
And I can’t take it anymore
It’s now time for the curtain call
Maybe it’s a little bit too much
Or a little bit too bold for you
But I don’t really care anymore
    So say goodbye

  • Cry Laughing

The one that had a happy start
The one that broke our heart
The one that changed our priorities
The one that got us writing poetry
The one that made us strong
The one that makes us go soft
The one that gave us scars
The one hidden from the stars
    We all have that
    One favorite sad story
